Voice of Social Activist: 1. Bhoj Narayan Shretha: Bhoj Narayan Shrestha, political leader and social worker, invited as a participant and speaker in this program. He was a speaker from the social worker side and said that, "I am very happy with ADWAN, because this kind of training in agriculture is running first time in Taklung. It is very useful and important training for farmer because we are depending on farming. Our country is also depending on farming. This training is challenge for government because it is responsibility of government. I want to say thanks to ADWAN for arrange like this important and valuable training and hopefully ADWAN will arrange different types of training related in agriculture.
And another one thing I have to say about ginger farming program. Here, our Kamal Babu did lots of things through ADWAN but some people make backbiting against him. The seed of ginger were costly that was not fault of Kamal Babu. The seed came from long distance but I heard some wrong words against of Kamal Babu from someone else but I can't say who this man is. I heard that Kamal Babu increase the cost of ginger for his benefit. But I can't believe their sound because I have talked with Pashupati (Ginger seed seller) about this topic and he said me the cost of ginger is Rs. 45 per kgs and Rs. 5 per kgs for transportation cost. The gross cost of per kg ginger is Rs.50 which takes Kamal Babu from us. After this some people said, the ginger is not good It is not grew up and Kamal Babu didn't do well with us. See now what he did, all of your lands become green with healthy ginger but anyone from you didn't say Kamal did well. So that listen first do practice and wait for result don't blame other. In the end thanks to organizer for invite me. And give me chance to put some words. Thank you."
2. Narayan Khanal: Narayan Khanal is a teacher of Sri Sinjali Secondary School. He was invited as a participant and speaker. He is a social worker too. He is a volunteer helper of ADWAN. He helped me in cooperative's work and said, "It is great concept so I can't stay without thanking to ADWAN and other supporter. Really IMP is more important and most necessary training for us. Examples are in front of our eyes. We can see the result of first training in our fields given by ADWAN. That first training was about ginger. Now all farmers are happy with the ginger farming. That is the result of new method of planting ginger which we get from training, given by ADWAN. We all are excited to learn new technique about farming and ADWAN going to fulfill our desire. This IPM training is important we knew now. Before, we are far from these types of trainings. We are very lucky because ADWAN always with us and giving opportunities to learn new method and ideas about farming. If our women will keep concentrate to gain knowledge in this training then definitely Taklung will become Model village in Gorkha district in all category of farming. We are going to grave the first position in Gorkha district in Ginger. Taklung will be announced first Village Development Committee for ginger growth. We are going to break the record of District in Ginger.
Like in ginger we can stand in first place in every farming product because ADWAN starting the IPM training on Tomato, Cabbage and Cauliflower this year. It will make us perfect farmer then we can grow those vegetable in large amount. And another thing cooperative will be fully supporter for to do this. I want to say thank you very much for providing us such a great opportunity for learning new things in farming. Also thanks to ADWAN for establishing the davit and credit cooperative. It is also great idea for uniting the people in one place. Thank you for providing time for expresses my some words in this program. Thank you.
My words: In gross the training was successful. But it takes more than 10 days for establish the nursery and collect the citizenship, finger print, signature and photos from cooperative members for cooperative ledger.
About cooperative: The second meeting of the cooperative declared the name of the Cooperative. The name of cooperative is Shree Chandi Saving and Credit Cooperative Limited. The name became from the God which is in near of our community building in Taklung. Some old age people came in meeting and request to keep the name in memory of Chandi God. Then all presented members accept it and finally approved this name by meeting.
I prepared the all documents as the format provided by Khadgabir Thapa in Kathmandu.

I went division cooperative office in Damauli, Tanahu with three right holder members of Chandi Cooperative. The right was given by the 2nd general meeting to president Kamala Shrestha, Secretary Ram Maya BK and Treasurer Junu Thapa. We leave for Damauli early in the morning and reached around 2pm. It took more than an hour to find the division office of cooperative. Finally we reached the division office at 3 pm and met the people who work for registration. But they were not talk with us friendly. They didn't provide time to talk us. After sometime I went to registrar's (Ram Chandra Lamgade) room and talked with him. I found him polite and sincere. He saw our documents and advice us come back with missing document and call the same person who doesn't care us and said give him the all formats of saving and credit cooperative. We left the office with some formats. Now I found all needs document from website (www.deoc.gov.np) of National office of cooperative and working for. All needs document are easy instead of Assumption reading report. It is five years' report about the saving and credit, entrepreneur, farming, education and more. That means how the cooperative will run the program? What is major key of long-lasting of coop? What things can make sure for abiding? Etc…. I think it will take some more days. I will go to division office after finished those. It will take a week.
And the IPM training is going on. We just finished the nursery for new brand of Kauli flower, Tomato and Cabbage. The women are much exited with this training. The presentation of participants is high. We just invited 6 members from each group and participant cross 10 from some group. Now the participant are 60 but some are come only for learn without the presentation. A group Bhimsen Women Group didn't attend the training. I told them time and again for come and join the program but they didn't follow our instruction and left the training. Why they are not attending they didn't explain. I told to Sanu Babu Ale (F.W.) go there again and find the reason of absent. I will write as soon as I received the reason.
